Family Support

Family and friends are encouraged to join us.

Often, we who have a mood disorder share ways to help others understand us.

We’re happy to share the resources that are practicial and effective for supporters and those who have a mood disorder.

Family dynamics are affected by depression and bipolar disorder. We learn so much from these “silent family members”.

Sometimes we feel helpless, misunderstood, and isolated. Our support group can help bridge the gap between this disconnect.

Nervous about coming to a meeting?

Join the club! I think everyone’s nervous the first time they come to a DBSA meeting.

Refer to the “See What To Expect At A Meeting” link.

You’re not alone, we’re here to help. It’s comforting knowing that others “get us."
